Travel Rush Starts

You knew it was coming, but here we are. The busiest travel day of the year. Sorry if you’re someone who has to make
it to the airport today (or later this weekend). Triple-A said more than 37 million people will be hoofing it from home
during the holiday weekend, this despite weather reports of gnarly snow conditions throughout parts of the mid-west,
absurdly expensive gasoline, rental cars and hotel rooms. Good luck. I’m heading out to Chicago tomorrow
morning….eeeeearly morning, so as to beat the traffic. But in case you were wondering what it’s like, there is
a quick and dirty AP piece on traveling
today you might find of some interest.
