NYT on Personal Travel Blogs

Via BootsnAll’s Boots Blog, I learned about this
piece in today’s New York Times
regarding personal travel blogs. The article profiles
TravelBlog, TravelPod,
BootsnAll, Blogger and
MyTripJournal. NYT writer Fred Bierman highlights specific
features of each website, but as Sean Keener of BootsnAll points out, a few things about their travel blog offerings
were overlooked. That’s too bad,
because they do have a great product. I use BootsnAll for my personal
blog
and am more than pleased with their service. I haven’t used any of the other sites mentioned by Bierman, but
I’m sure each has unique features and tools that work best for individual travel bloggers. All of the suggested sites
have pros and cons, so be sure to check out each of the options laid out in the article (including my personal pick,
BootsnAll Blogs) before choosing the right one to chronicle your next travel
adventuress.
