Even though the vast majority of stuff posted over at sister site
Luxist is way out of our spending range, it’s always interesting to see what they find. Here’s
an interesting post on the
Tempter House in Telluride, a $5000 per
night lodge that, resting at 12,000 feet will have you gasping for air as you grab your wallet. Forget driving your SUV
there, guests are instead chauffeured on a snowmobile up the to the resort, and once yo’re there, you will be swaddled
in sybaritic luxury.
Leather couches (Corithian leather, perhaps?), a fully stocked bar, a 36 inch flat screen TV, pool tables, steam
rooms, hot tubs, fire places…somethiiing right out of a F. Scott Fitzgerald short story.
