I eneded up the other night meeting my cousin at a new Manhattan restaurant that I feel like I
should recommend. Bar Americain at 152 West 52nd Street is spacious and
elegant. The owner’s concept is to serve American food served brasserie-style. So there are ample dishes with
meats and potatoes and a superb shellfish selection including crawfish and Dungeness crab cake. We had a wonderful
wine and dessert and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Of course ,it wasn’t cheap. No no no. But I suppose you get what
you pay for and in this case, that was an excellent meal and a very satisfying ambiance.
