While the Web has always offered loads of free stuff more and more, I think, we’re going to find barriers in the
way to digital swag. Newspapers will charge us, you’ll pay for video online, and so on. So it’s nice to see that there
are still a few places where you can, say, download a well-produced documentary for free.
Yes, go and check out freedocumentaries.org. There
(allegedly..though I have not tried to do so yet) you can watch films like Fahrenheit 9/11 Control Room, and the anti Fox
screed Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War On
Journalism. Many of these are bittorrent files, so you’ll have to download bt to view them…and they are also BIG
Files, so take care. But I’d be curious of anyone does this and what their experience was like.
