Garmin StreetPilot 2730

I can picture many a geek on his knees at night, fingers clenched in supplication as he/she mutters to himself: Oh
please, oh please Santa, can you see it in your heart to bring me the
StreetPilot 2730 by Garmin. The Garmin is one of those devices
that dance like sugar plums in the heads of road-trippers everywhere. The StreetPilot incorporates the latest local
traffic data (via satellite) with 150 XM radio and weather channels, it also can be filled up with your MP3s and uses
GPS technology to help you get to your destination, the latter of which is done with a cheery voice that could also
serve as a soid companion for very lonely geeks. Of course, companinship like this ain’t cheap. The Garmin runs $1,300
and the XM subscription is extra.
