Most Expensive Lift Ticket: Vail

Curse them! Well, Vail ski resort in Colorado has long been up in the stratosphere when it comes to lift ticket
prices and this year, well, is no exception. Sure, Vail is great. The back bowls kick arse and offer some of the finest
powder this side of the Johnson and Johnson Company Headquarters. But such fine skiing comes with a hefty price tag. As
sister site Luxist points out
(and the fact that this some from Luxist says it all) a day of skiing at Vail and Beaver Creek ski areas
will be $81 a day
. Ouch. Is it worth it? Well, that’s for you to decide. For my money, I still think
that you can’t go wrong with Mary Jane and Winter Park where you can get a two day pass for $126.
