MSNBC runs a feature on one of the best resorts around: Telluride Colorado.
Unlike it’s Colorado brethren Vail and Aspen, Telluride lacks
the snottiness and ostentation that makes those places kinda suck. But the disadvantage of Telluride is that it can be
hard to get to.
The name itself – Telluride – allegedly comes from some old cowboy who said getting there was like "to Hell
You Ride". That said, there are roads now that get you there quite nicely. It just takes a while. And the skiiing
is superb.
The feature is useful and gives a rundown of the resort’s offerings and, rightfully, celebrates its snow and the
laid back culture.
