I try not to send people over to sites where you have to be a subscriber to get the good chunks of the piece, but Photo District News (PDN)
Online has an amazing December issue and it may be worth signing up and shelling out a few extra bucks. Their
current issue focuses on Environmental & Travel Photography, something we are all interested in here. Features
include photographer, Terry Evans air adventure over Chicago
and its environs, photographer, Peter Menzel’s exploration of global
fast-food, and Jonathan Olley’s documentation of humanity’s interaction with the land titled, From
Seawalls to Landmines. Other promising stories include photographer’s misadventures with wildlife, gunfire, and food
that, um… moves.
The over-commercial holiday season really got me in the pockets, but it would be awesome
if I could get my hands on a copy of this issue if not any others which I’m sure are just as great. Or is that asking
too much.
