Sydney: Sydney Fish Market

Seafood and Sydney are practically synonymous which puts the Sydney Fish
Market
on the itineraries of several travelers. And sure it’s fun to kick rocks around the market, point and taste-test the sashimi, but wouldn’t it
be grand if you could cook it from your very home? I don’t mean overcook either. Wouldn’t it be magical if you returned
from your Sydney vaca and served your pals at home cuisine from down under (as in the ocean) prepared to perfection.
Yeah, that would be cool – right?

Well after a stroll through the market sign up for a course at the Sydney Seafood School
for a few basic lessons or a complex weekend session. The most popular course appears to be Seafood BBQ, which runs
three or four times a month, but there are certainly several others to choose from. Think pipis, sea-snail, mussels,
and octopus galore. Forget that shrimp on the barbie jibberish and sign-up to learn more than a couple of fishy catch
phrases. Heck, create some of your own. Maybe something like Stephie smokes salmon in the Sydney Seafood School Sunday
sessions. Or whatever.

The Sydney Fish market is located in Blackwattle Bay on the foreshore of Sydney
Harbour. Program information can be found by clicking here.
