Sydney: Sydney Tower Skywalk

If you thought your heart was all revved up and pumping uncontrollably on the plane from all the built up excitement of heading to Australia and felt as if it might burst
from all the internal commotion, then let me say this before touching on Sydney’s famed Tower Skywalk: Calm down, breathe out, wait a few days and then get
ready to rev it up again. Yes, this tour is for adrenaline seekers and possibly those brave souls who wish to get over
their fear of heights. Lasting about a hour and a half, participants will start with a safety briefing and will then be
placed into protective skysuits. After all the fun legal paperwork, Skywalkers are escorted to the steel walkways and
platforms, harnessed to safety rails by sliding cables. The skyguides will point out important cultural, historical and
geographical landmarks. Situated some 260 metres in the above ground, looking down will not be an option and it’s the
best way to get a 360 degree view of the city. Heart pounding yet?

What’s even cooler about the Sydney Tower
Skywalk is the New Years Eve Skywalk being offered twice in one
evening. The first is scheduled for 9PM while the other is scheduled for Midnight. The tour includes a free 6×8 photo
of each person and champagne or soft drink on the deck afterwards. Prices differ for each tour and if you haven’t heard
about this already and want tickets, better check it out now. They may already be gone for the NYE event, but book ahead
for a future date.
