Baltimore's American Dime Museum

Wonder if Baltimore’s American Dime Museum was able
to pull itself out of the bind it was in? Does anyone out there know? It would be a pity to see
an attraction loved by the locals and a visitor or two shut its doors and fade away into a memory after 2005.
Apparently, the museum had to raise 400,000 dimes which equals $40,000 when you do the simple math, but was there
anyone out there who loved the place enough to keep it open another year? Roadside America tells about the Baltimore
attraction’s dilemma in their Tourism News section and I’m
hoping I’ll be able to look back for an update. The museums collection is comprised of all sorts of weird things,
mummies, odd scientific devices, and famous bodily excretions.
