Soweto Gospel Choir On Tour

My
mother pointed this one out so I thought I’d share it with you here. The Soweto Gospel Choir is scheduled to perform at the Tampa Bay
Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 and I’ve got two tickets to go check them out. Though I don’t
listen to gospel music on a regular basis or attend any special Sunday services of sorts, the surge of energy and
electric current that flows through churches usually conjures harmonious sounds of praise and inspiration which can be
overwhelming. So for that reason I’m eager to experience this show. I can only imagine what the voices of the 26-strong
choir, combined to celebrate Africa’s unique raising power could be like. Reviews over the years have been astounding
claiming the choir puts on a flawless performance with victorious voices making non-believers feel inspired. Performances are scheduled back-to-back as they touch
several U.S., U.K., and South African cities in 2006. If it’s not coming to a city near you, try heading to a city near
it.
