It
seems to me a tough task to figure out the top ten cities for families, but what do I know? I mean, how do you
determine this? I suppose there are many ways, including ease of getting around, family-friendly restaurants, parks,
entertainment and so on. So maybe it’s not that hard after all.
Well, Child
Magazine has done their homework and put forward its rankings of the top cities for families and in the spirit
of helping you to help yourself make informed decisions on where to go with Junior, we offer the list here:
- 1.
Denver
2. Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Newport News
3. Minneapolis-St. Paul
4. Miami
5. Orlando
6.
Madison, WI
7. Anaheim (tie)
7. Rochester
9. Boston
10. San Diego
Personally,
I’d throw Seattle in the mix. It is not only lovely, but friendly and has an amazing array of things to do with the
kids. It does get rainy, although it’s not nearly as bad as most people think. Come to think of it…I’d throw in New
york as well. Probably better to expose Jr. to the big city before he/she gets too old.
