Here’s a story to ponder and if
you’re like me you’ll probably scratch your head for hours or even days wondering how one goes from placing luggage
into the plane’s cargo hold to placing one’s self into the cargo hold for a nap. Well I read this story a few days back
and didn’t think much about it, but the more I think about it I realize that has got to be some incredibly intense
sleeping on the job. If you haven’t heard Muhammet Ahmet Mursi, a cargo worker in Saudi Arabia got a little drowsy on
his gig while placing the suitcases of Muslim pilgrims from Turkey on a Turkish Airlines. He was well into his snooze
when he suddenly started feeling a little chilly, waking, and screaming loud enough for the pilots to hear him. This
story makes me laugh and shake my head. It’s so bizarre and I’m happy to know he’s okay. Apparently he had pneumonia
and was treated in Turkey upon his arrival. Not sure if he’s already been sent back to Saudi, but that’s quite a trip.
