Non-Stop to Delhi

By the way, in my recent post about Bush traveling to India, did I mention it’s one of my favorite places, a country to which I would return in a hummingbird’s heartbeat if the opportunity arose? Yes, I would. And I learned in my Web peregrinations that American Airlines is offering roundtrip fares from various airports in the US to India for around $1000.

Not a bad deal, and while it’s still a major haul, you can at least get it all done at one time without having to land in Munich or something and waste a bunch of time. The non-stop service between Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Delhi, India, began last year and while I wish they’d get service to Mumbai, Delhi is as fine a place as any to start your India experience.
