Karen Walrond over at Bloggingbaby gives us a very nice glimpse at the Trinidad Carnival in this
post. Seems the partying has taken its toll on our dutiful correspondent, who reminisces about her
own coming of age at Carnival and discusses the j’ouvert (pronounced "joo-VAY" by the locals), or
"opening of the day" in Trinidad. For those of us who spent much of the weekend in cold climes, this is the
kind of stuff that makes you support global warming.
