It’s a bit old, somewhat long in the tooth, but Temporama is a pretty solid site to visit to get a sort of On the Road vibe. It is all about little journeys, sojourns into and across the American landscape.
The site follows John Freyer on his cross-country adventures since 1995, and while it does not appear to have been tightly maintained, it’s still of interest.
