Ever wondered about the, um, Wonders? You know what I’m talking about. First there are the ancients: The Pyramids of Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Colossus of Rhodes…most of which aren’t around anymore. Then there are the natural ones: Everest, Great Barrier Reef. And on and on.
Well, you can check Wikipedia for all these things, to learn more about why the ancient ones are no longer with us, for example, or you can head over to this site dedicated to everything Wondrous. They break out in satisfying detail the lists of wonders, including many that you’ve prob ably never heard of before, like The Seven Forgotten Wonders of the Medieval Mind. Who knew there was such a thing? Probably the biggest allure of this site for me is how it helped me add some items to my life list.
