Well, I was keeping an eye out on the Gadling Flickr site for some great 4th of July photo, but alas, none ever showed. So it’s late and I’m going to use one of my photos from Saratoga this weekend. No, it’s not the greatest photo in the world, but it’s historical and appropriate for the day. The shot is of a mortar aimed out over the Saratoga Battlefield where one of the most important fights of the Revolutionary War took place.
