Erik, as you’ve no doubt noticed, has just returned from a trip to Newfoundland and has been posting some impressive slideshows on his cool journeys. I’m jealous, as this has been on my travel list for a long time; Erik’s photos have inspired me to bump it much higher.
Coincidently, The New York Times is running a 36 Hours column on St, Johns, Newfoundland today.
Jeff Schlegel tells us how the small town of 100,000 is home to “Icebergs, whales and puffins” and the “thickest brogues west of Galway.” He then lists eleven “Can’t Misses” for those traveling to this part of the world.
Erik will be posting about St John’s in greater detail in the near future, but in the meantime, I thought I’d toss this link out there for those of you whose interests have been sparked.
