The National Parks out in the West are pretty much one of the best things we’ve got going. They are superlative, some of the loveliest places in the world. And among the places way out there, there are maybe five that totally rule. Bryce Canyon in Uta is one of them. Bryce is essentially an alien landscape right here on our home planet. The formations are the stuff of science fiction novels. Wind-carved sandstone and golden-red bows and bridges that will have you clicking your camera and uttering admiration for Momma Nature’s handiwork. This piece in the Washington Times, while not wonderful, still gives a nice feel for Bryce and what it has to offer. Myself, I’d recommend you visit the park yourself if you really want to see what I’m talking about.
