When I lived in Zambia, I carried my Nalgene bottle with me everywhere. I drank water from it throughout the day. I used it when I brushed my teeth at bedtime. I was even known to fill it with masese (home brew fermented from maize) and sip on it at dusk. Yup, my Nalgene was useful.
While I loved it, I admit that the inside of my bottle turned funky colors from the Iodine tablets I sometimes used, and the exterior got beat up from the abuse it suffered. Had they been available to me at the time, I may have grabbed a SIGG.
