UK Man First To Run Around the World

I once ran four miles at once. That’s right, four. How did I do it, you ask? Years of hard training, that’s how. Unfortunately UK runner Robert Garside has got nothing on me — he ran around the entire world!

It took him nearly 6 years to run through 30 countries over 30,000 miles. And this was his 4th try at it.

Not everyone believes his story, however. The 100km Association — “Britain’s only specialist ultra running club” — claims that he “has flown over, or missed out altogether, countries he initially claimed to have run through.” However, nearly three years after the attempt, the Guinness Book of World Records officially listed him as the first man to run around the world.

So it’s settled. He officially ran 29,996 miles more than I did.
