Theme parks are often the destination of traveling families and for good reason. But not all theme parks live up to the thunder. In fact, some are downright disappointing, or simply inappropriate for children of certain ages and heights.
Fortunately, there is now a website to help sift through the good, the bad, and the ugly. ThemeParkInsider.com is organized by region so that someone heading to California, for example, can find all of the state’s theme parks conveniently arranged in a single location.
Each park is then broken down. Visitors to the site can learn about a theme park’s history, safety record, upcoming attractions, local hotels, onsite restaurants, and the best time to visit.
The cool thing is that every single ride is reviewed and rated by readers on a scale of 1-10. And most importantly, height limits are listed for each ride as well. So if you have short kids, you’ll know which rides to avoid in advance rather than having your child suffer the indignation of not measuring up to the “You Must Be This Tall” sign.
