More In-flight Charging Options for iPods

The downfall of any video iPod is the short battery life. One can’t fly from Los Angeles to New York without running out of juice and having to resort (gasp!) to reading the in-flight magazine.

There are a couple of solutions to extending your battery life while flying. We’ve posted before about a cool little device that plugs into the headphone jack on your in-flight armrest and ekes out extra energy for your batteries.

Or, you can opt for the EZ Gear Powerstick. This little device, just slightly larger than an iPod, is powered by four AA batteries. Plug it in and you can recharge your iPod 3-4 times. That’s enough to get you to Australia and back without interrupting your viewing pleasure!
