Here’s a site that will make you cry.
It’s pretty self-explanatory. So I dare you, sitting in your cubicle at work, to click over to the site, select either California or Hawaii, and then pick your own instrument of torture. Hmmm… perhaps the frolicking surf at Kanaha Beach, Kahului, or maybe the golden sands of Newport Beach.
MyBeachCams contains links to dozens of live web cams throughout California and Hawaii that are focused solely on the crashing waves and sandy beaches of these two paradisiacal states. I can’t imagine how much torture this must be for those of you living in the Midwest. Or Germany, for that matter.
Me? Well, if the waves look nice in Santa Monica, I might just ride my bike over and jump in. I’ll be sure to let you know, however, so that you can watch me catching waves on one of the web cams.
