I love the way the light plays ever so gently, almost teasingly, with the forest in this shot.
Although Localsurfer has titled it Dark and Spooky near Simonsbath on Exmoor, I have to disagree. The warm light and greenish tint of the trees evokes a far more homey feeling than one of spookiness. Nonetheless, what ever it happens to evoke in you, it is still a fantastic shot and worthy of our Photo of the Day honors.
