Tailored Tours

Here’s an interesting new way to see New York…or at least to get information on things to see in New York. It’s a site called TailoredTours.com. They call themselves an online one-stop-shop for self-guided sightseeing tours which, once you go to the site and sign up decide what you like, can be delivered as e-mail attachments or put onto a mobile phone (hey, what about an ipod!?) .

Seems promising. They provide tours that bundle everything from sightseeing opps to cultural activities, restaurants and shopping. The price isn’t too bad, just three bucks per, so I’m tempted to try one out. Right now the company offers some 40 New York City itineraries in twelve different categories.
