Have you even been sitting on your couch watching some travel program and wish that you could be magically transported there?
Disney is launching a new service in the United States which aims to do just that.
Disney’s Travel on Demand will be a library of travel-related, video-on-demand programming. Subscribers of Time Warner Cable and Cablevision can simply pick a video of an appealing destination and any time during the watching of it, they can press a button on their remote. Within 15 minutes the phone will ring and a Disney travel agent will be on hand to book your next vacation.
So, if you’re a sucker for infomercials and have purchased far too many Ginsu Knives in the past, this might be something you want to avoid. Otherwise you’ll sit on your couch all day ordering up vacations you can’t afford. But wait! There’s more….!
