For some odd reason Seattle has been very much on my mind lately. Having spent five fantastic years there, I am still madly in love with the place, especially during this time of year when it’s warm and sunny and about as lovely a place as there is on earth.
And so it was an easy task for to to choose this photo from bamassippi for our POTD this Sunday. I am actually in the airport right now waiting to fly to Charlotte to do some shooting/kayaking, and the photo here reminded me of many a great trip out of the San Juans in the Northwest. It is minimaist, but very well-composed, I think and even stirred a bit of the patriot in me…albeit a patriot wth a cup of Starbucks in his hand.
