This week saw another new blogger (welcome Anna!), some airplane mishaps (like this one and this one), and the unveiling of the new Virgin Galactic. Here’s what else went on:
- We said good-bye to long-time contributer Neil Woodburn. Jamie wrote a great post highlighting the top 1% of his posts — check it out here. We’ll miss you, Neil!
- Aaron told us what happens when you lose your passport in Equador, and it’s not as simple as calling the passport office to get a new one.
- Jerry asks the all-important question: Why pay to travel when you have Google Earth?
- Should overweight people pay for an extra airline seat? Grant examines this question, and looks at the Canadian government’s new policy on the matter.
- Justin offers his excellent tips on backpacking through Europe.
As usual, that’s just a small sampling of a busy week here at Gadling, so nose around a bit and check out our other posts. And have a fabulous weekend.
