This week only, United Airlines is selling discounted Economy Plus upgrades for all their flights.
The United Airlines Economy Plus cabin offers more legroom in the front of the coach cabin. The upgrade won’t get you any upgraded food or a massage, but especially on long flights, the modest fare for an upgrade to Economy Plus is well worth it.
The discounted upgrades start at $5 (for short flights) up to $87 for international flights. These prices are one-way and you have till November 13th at 5pm (CST) to purchase the upgrade.
The United Airlines Travel Options page is also selling Red Carpet Club passes for $39, $11 off the normal price.
The discounted Economy Plus upgrades can be added at the time of booking or by adding it to an existing itinerary at United.com. You can only add it to an existing booking more than 24 hours prior to departure.
If you’d rather take your chance at winning a free upgrade to Economy Plus, then head on over to Twitter and keep your eye on the United Airlines account – once a day, they’ll ask a simple question, and the first person to answer correctly will receive a free Economy Plus upgrade on their next flight.
