Daily deal – TomTom ONE 125 GPS unit for $100

by Scott Carmichael on

My daily deal for today is perfect for anyone who is looking for a cheap GPS unit, but does not feel like standing in line with thousands of other people this Friday.

Amazon is offering the TomTom ONE 125 GPS unit for just $99.99 with free shipping.

This compact GPS device features the TomTom folding Easyport windshield mount, pre-loaded US maps and even the option to add fuel price downloads directly to the device.

This unit is about as cheap as GPS devices can get, without having to settle for a refurbished unit, or a unit with inferior specifications.

Included with the unit is a car charger cord, USB cable and the Easyport docking mount. You can learn more about the features of the TomTom ONE 125 directly on the TomTom site.

My daily deal for today is for the Garmin Nuvi 500.

This rugged and waterproof GPS unit is pre-loaded with topographic and city maps of the continental United States, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

The device also features an SD card slot, a mini-USB connector for PC connectivity and can be expanded with a large variety of Garmin map products.

The Garmin Nuvi 500 usually retails for over $380, but you can currently pick one up from REI at just $289. If you select the REI “ship to store” option, you’ll get free shipping.

Daily deal – SeV performance T-Shirt 25% discount on 2 or more

by Scott Carmichael on

Today’s daily deal is for what can only be referred as “the perfect travel T-Shirt”.

The SeV cotton T-Shirt features not one, but three discreet pockets, with room for your iPod, mobile phone and other gadgets. The iPod pocket even has the patented SeV personal area network, with wire conduits and earphone loops!

The shirt is made of 100% prewashed no-shrink cotton and is available in three different colors (black, white and olive).

These T-Shirts normally retail for $25 each, but if you apply coupon code NEWTEES, you’ll get 25% off 2 or more (making the total price for 2 T-Shirts just $37.50).

Shipping is a very reasonable $5 and you’ll find the product in sizes S-XXL.

Daily deal – TomTom ONE XL widescreen GPS navigation unit for $92.99

by Scott Carmichael on

Today’s daily deal is for the TomTom ONE XL wide screen GPS unit. This 4.3″ car navigation unit comes complete with a windshield mount, DC charger cord, USB cable and a user manual.

The TomTom ONE XL is on sale at Newegg.com for just $92.99, with free shipping.

Of course, with a price this low, there is a small catch; the unit is “recertified”.

Recertified units have been sent back to the vendor for any number of reasons, but have been returned to their “as new” condition.

The TomTom comes with a 90 day warranty and can be purchased here.

Daily deal – Koss mini MP3 player speaker – free + $4 shipping

by Scott Carmichael on

My daily deal for today is for the Koss SA-10 portable speaker dock.

This AA powered mini speaker plugs directly into the headphone jack of your iPod, or any other MP3 player with a regular headphone jack.

The 2 AA batteries keep the speakers powered for up to 10 hours of continuous playback.

The Koss SA-10 is on sale at 1 Sale A Day, and is being sold for $0. Of course, the catch is that you need to pay $3.99 for shipping. Even after the fairly high shipping charge, these speakers are a fantastic deal, and perfect for bringing along on your next trip if you want some music in your hotel room.
