Daily deal – Lasonic 7″ digital photo frame for $38

by Scott Carmichael on

My daily deal for today is for the Lasonic JL-207 7″ digital photo frame.

This portable digital frame has a fairly low resolution screen, but should make for a perfect Christmas gift, or a way to display your own vacation or other travel photos in a slideshow.

The photo frame can read photos off SD, MMC and Memory Stick media. You even have the ability to connect it directly to your PC and use it as a memory card reader.

The photo frame can also playback several video formats, a feature not found on many other digital photo frames. To top off the feature listing, you’ll even find a video output jack which allows you to connect the frame to view your photos on TV.

The MSRP of this product is $99, but 6ave.com currently has it on sale for just $39.99 with free shipping. If you apply coupon code “couponcabin“, you’ll shave an additional $2.34 off the price. Save yourself the hassle of the busy Christmas season and stock up on these; I’ve always found that they make perfect gifts, especially if you include a small memory card with some photos.

Daily deal – RCA Dual wattage foreign plug adapter kit for $12.99

by Scott Carmichael on

My daily deal for today is another of those essential products any foreign traveler should have in their gadget arsenal.

This RCA branded power adapter kit comes in a handy carrying case, and includes a switchable voltage adapter (one setting for up to 50 watts, and one for up to 1600 watts). The kit also includes 5 different plug adapters.

This kit usually retails for about $40, but Buy.com currently has it on clearance for just $12.99 with free shipping.

Of course, the big red letters on the product page warning you of “limited stock”, should probably be taken seriously, as items like this tend to sell out very quickly.

Daily deal – Panasonic network security camera for $50

by Scott Carmichael on

Welcome to my daily deal for Tuesday November 11th. My deal for today is something you’ll actually leave at home instead of carrying along with you.

The Panasonic BL-C1A is a network security camera and is great for keeping an eye on things at home, when you are on the road.

The camera connects to the network in your home (wired only), and allows you to remotely monitor your kids or pets. Of course, it is also a great solution to keep an eye out for packages left at the front door.

The camera also features a built in motion sensor, and it can send you an email if motion is detected.

Of course, as with all network equipment, you’ll need a basic understanding of what you are doing, but the Panasonic camera has several built in features that should make installation fairly easy.

This camera usually retails for $99, but Amazon.com currently has it on sale for just $50.12 with free shipping.

Daily deal – Polk Audio portable iPod speaker dock for $30

by Scott Carmichael on

My daily deal for today is for the Polk Audio miDock iPod speaker dock. This stylish portable iPod speaker is powered by 4 AA batteries, or the included AC adapter.

The miDock is only 100% compatible with the 5th generation iPod. Other iPod versions like the 2nd and 4th generation Nano will play, but they will not charge. The iPhone and the iPod touch don’t fit at all, and will need to be connected to the aux input jack of the speaker.

So, if you have a 5th generation iPod, this is a great way to get a high quality speaker dock for under $30 ($29.99). The miDock is on sale at Woot.com, which means you only have till the end of inventory or the end of the day, whichever comes first. Shipping is $5.

Included in the box is the speaker, an assortment of iPod adapters, a carrying case and an AC adapter.

Daily deal – Aliph Jawbone 2 Bluetooth headset for $80

by Scott Carmichael on

My daily deal for today is for the Aliph Jawbone 2 Bluetooth headset. This headset combines a stylish look with the noise canceling features only found in Jawbone headsets.

I’ve never been a huge Bluetooth headset fan, but if you are going to wear one anyway, it might as well be a pretty one.

The Jawbone 2 headset comes complete with a USB charger, replacement ear loops and 3 different earbuds.

The headset has a manufacturer rating of 8 days standby time, or 4 hours talk time.

The MSRP of the Jawbone 2 is $139.99, but it is currently on sale at Cellhut for just $79.99 with free shipping. You will need to enter coupon code ALIP2B in order to get the shipping charges removed.
