Alessi travel alarm clocks take you back to simpler times

These cute Alessi travel alarm clocks don’t come with an iPod dock, atomic radio self-adjustment or Bluetooth.

What they do offer is the timeless design that goes back to 1966 and 1970, when designers Pio Manzu and Joe Columbo added these classic alarm clocks to the Alessi product lineup.

The clocks had been gone for quite some time, but this fall, they return to Alessi, and are awaiting travelers who long for the days when setting your alarm clock did not involve having to go online just to download a PDF of the user guide.

The clocks, Cronotime (top) and Optic (bottom) are available in orange, black and white, and will be on sale this fall for $78.
