Mashed potatoes and stuffing served with your raccoon dinner?

Do these cute little guys (or girls?) look like dinner to you? They could be if you make the trek to Delafield, Wisconsin this weekend. On the menu at the yearly McNulty Coon Feed is – you guessed it – raccoon.

Your coon is served with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and veggies. Best of all – dinner is cheap ($10 for adults and $5 for kids), and all proceeds benefit a local youth program.

Plus, the timing is perfect since Boca Tacos y Tequila in Tucson had to cancel their planned lion taco dinner party. Something tells me the backlash from serving raccoon won’t be as fierce as serving lion. Oh, and don’t worry – the Raccoon isn’t scraped from the side of the road, the animals are/were farm raised.
