Daily Pampering: Trump International Hotel New York offers royal wedding package

Dying to attend the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton? Sorry, you probably can’t. But you can have the next best thing – a reservation at Trump International New York‘s private showing of the royal weding on oversized monitors while being served a special breakfast at Jean Georges the morning of Friday, April 29.

Since the royal wedding begins early (the event begins at 5 AM), you’ll also enjoy an overnight stay in a newly renovated guest room designed by Ivanka Trump. Nosh on a special tasting menu fit for a prince or princess with options like scrambled eggs with caviar, mini-French toast, and pains au chocolat. Naturally, a toast will be served as well – sparkling mimosas.

The breakfast will conclude by 9 a.m., at which time you can choose to hit the town or return to your rooms for a nap … and don’t worry about oversleeping. A 4 PM late checkout is guaranteed.

As a memento of the occasion, guests will also receive a piece of official Royal Wedding china commissioned by The Royal Collection.

How much will it cost you? Significantly less than a royal wedding. The package is $1,425 per couple and includes executive Park View suite accommodations.

Daily Pampering: Faena Hotel boasts the most expensive suite in Latin America

It’s okay to drop the F-word when you’re staying at Buenos Aires‘ Faena Hotel + Universe. Their F Suite bears the distinction of being Latin America’s most expensive suite at $9,500 a night.

Designed as a collaboration between Philippe Starck and Alan Faena, the suite incorporates incorporates Imperial-style furniture, red velvet curtains, lapacho wood and arabasceto marble with touches of traditional Argentine decor. Don’t miss the centerpieces of the living room – a Murano glass chandelier and oil portraits of General and Eva Peron adorn the walls.

The sixth-floor suite offers a living and dining area, private kitchen, two bedrooms, two 24″ flat-screen televisions in the reception area and a marble master bath with a rain shower and Jacuzzi.

Guests of the suite receive private access via a residential entrance and an outdoor terrace (shown above) with spectacular views of the city as well as 24/7 personal service by a dedicated Experience Manager.

Daily Pampering: The May Fair London offers luxe Champagne parties

Indulgence flows like, well, Champagne, at newest bar program. Aptly titled 150 at The May Fair, (after the magnum, 150cl of liquid) the semi-private bar experience offers a new series of programs where guests can order premium magnums of vintage champagnes paired with a menu of small plates prepared by the new head chef at the hotel’s restaurant, Silvena Rowe.

What would we opt for? The most glamourous offering of them all, naturally! The Dom Pérignon Rose 1998 Experience is a private Champagne party for up to 12 guests.

Priced at £4,400 (approx. $6,800), guests will enjoy four magnums of Dom Pérignon Vintage Rose 1998 paired with four canapés for each guest: seared diver-caught scallops and sevruga caviar remoulade; crispy spiced jumbo prawns with avocado and tahini; West Mersea native oysters with sevruga caviar and szechaun button and pomegranate glazed foie gras.

After that much drinking, we’d suggest you end the night in one of the hotel’s 12 signature suites… or at least with sponsored transportation home.
