Enron Tours

Proving the theory that if it happens, tourists will be money to see where it happened, a company is now giving guided tours in Houston of the notable locations involved in the Enron scandal.

Lifestyles of Houston’s Rich & Infamous” is a five-hour tour through the ritzy neighborhoods where the criminals who ran Enron into the ground built houses and owned real estate.  A store where Kenneth Lay’s wife sold her pricey acquisitions is also on the tour as well as a pilgrimage to the original Enron sign which stood outside the corporate headquarters (and subsequently purchased at auction for $44,000).

The pricy $30 price tag to drive a bus past Houston suburban mansions proves the spirit of fleecing is still alive and well in Houston, Texas.
