LA City Pass

Are you one of those people (and I’ve met several since moving to New York) that have NEVER been to California? I grew up in Cali, so it seems strange to me that there are people out there who have never been. I know, that is a rather pre-Copernican view of the world, where somehow I am always at the center of things. But that pretty much is the way I look at the world sometimes. Anyway, those folks I know who have never been to California ceaselessly tell me how much they want to visit Hollywood. Why on earth, I say to them would you want to go there? For the most part, I think Hollywood is an unpalatable, depraved eyesore. But hey, what do I know?

But if you are determined to go, then I suppose I can help offer some advice .Why not pick yourself up a City Pass. The City pass for Los Angeles can be bought online or at various Hollywood attractions like the Hollywood Wax Museum, Behind the Scenes Hollywood Tours, Kodak Theater, and the Hollywood Museum in the Max Factor Building.  The City Pass gives you discounted entry at all of these places, basically it offers easy one-stop-shopping for Hollywood tourists. They pass runs $49 for adults and $39 for children. It’s a decent deal if you’re determined to do the nasty Hollywood tourist thing. Good luck.
