Looking for a new ‘tryst’ on an old flame (pun intended), but not quite ready to splurge on the sexiest hotels, consider this option:
The MacCallum House Inn and Restaurant in Mendocino, California, is offering a “Tryst Package”, good for stays through June 1, 2010. Spend one night at the California hotel and get your second night free. Of course, there are rules to this tiny tryst:
- Book your room by Feb. 15 to receive the second-night free package.
- Sunday through Thursday stays get the second night free; Friday and Saturday stays will receive 50% off the second night.
- The deal is good for all Deluxe and Premier rooms booked between Feb. 2 -June 1, 2010. Not valid for holiday periods (Valentine’s weekend, Presidents’ weekend, Easter weekend, Memorial Day weekend.)
The tryst comes complete with in-room sparkling wine or cider, votive candles, an organic chocolate bar, free movie rentals, full breakfast buffets and 20% off spa services.
