Somewhere over the rainbow dreams really do come true (or so they sing). This lucky shot of a rainbow towering over the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, was taken by BaboMike and captures the mystique of the “red fortress.”

If you’ve ever walked through the grand Alhambra you understand its power. The red clay surrounding the original white-washed buildings is what gives the Alhambra its ‘red fortress’ name. Walls of art grace the interior walls of the palace and fountains, gardens and baths decorate the foundation of the once Moorish ruled-castle. The experience of the Alhambra is truly overwhelming, as is this spectacular shot.
